Yauco tells her own story
Originally when I started Yauco City I had a vision of what I wanted to include and how I wanted to organize the contents of this book. As I enter the third chapter I am finding this book seems to be taking on a life of its own. I knew from the moment of its inception that the book would focus on Yauco and centralize it as a sort of home base that you would arrange your stay and excursions around. My initial idea was to make the book into two parts, part one would focus on all things Yauco and part two would focus on surrounding towns. 54 pages later I now find myself on chapter three which focuses on things to see and do in the Pueblo section of Yauco. With another 19 more surrounding neighborhoods within Yauco to go, I am beginning to realize that part two might not even be an option. I feel overwhelmed with pride at all the treasures my beautiful Yauco has to offer. Her beauty and history far over exceeded everything I knew and the future she has to offer. Yauco seems to be telling her own story in the pages of this book I am just the vessel.
